Youβre such an inspiration to me so I thought Iβd help out my friend Katherine with her project in her photography class so I showed her this picture of you and on the right is her interpretation.
So cool! She is lovely.

Q: I don't know if you will get round to answering this but I just want you to know that you are my idol. You're such a positive and beautiful person inside and out. I have been through a very rough few years and I really hated myself. I started watching your videos and your optimism really inspired me. The #myfavoriteme campaign you started really made me start loving myself and I see it had the same affect on others too. I just want to say thank you. You have helped me change my life xxxxxx

Wow. Thank you so much or sharing. This is exactly why I started #myfavoriteme. We can look for acceptance and love from a million people but it won’t make a difference until we find it from ourselves. So many young girls spend their time wishing to be someone else instead of finding the things they admire about themselves. Glad I helped you a bit. This made my day. :)

Q: Is there a good vintage hairstyle that works at theme parks? or are you just kinda screwed cuz of the rides? lol
xkarenkiwi
Depends on the rides! A barrel roll and ponytail is probably the safest if you are going on fast rides. It will stay pretty secure. I would advise against doing and down curly styles. You will look like peg bundy by the end of the day!

Q: Have you ever heard of Dapper Day @Disneyland? You live in Hollywood which is decently close to the park so I was curious if you ever heard of it or have been?

I have heard of it! And I am actually almost an hour away from Disneyland and it is crazy expensive so I don’t go very often. :(

Q: Hi! So I really love your hair tutorials on Youtube (especially the vintage hairstyles) but I have a reeeeally bad cowlick and can not have bangs. I also have thin hair that doesn't stay curled for long. Do you have any suggestions for me or modified versions of hairstyles I could have? The shortest my bangs can be without sticking up is just below my nose. If you have a tip on how to control a cowlick that would be cool too! c:

Hey there! You can do all of my styles with a cow lick. Obviously don’t cut Bettie bangs. Haha. But as far as the thin hair— try dry shampoo at the roots! It will thicken it up a bit.

Q: Hi Cherry! I just wanted to thank you for all of the hard work you put in for us girls. I was looking through your Tumblr for hair and makeup inspiration, but I came across a few posts that were highly negative. I don't understand how you can get this criticism, and probably a lot of it with your popularity, and still stay positive. That's admirable. Anyways, thanks for everything you do. You're one of my favorite YouTubers. =D

Thank you!! For every negative comment I get a thousand positive ones. I choose to focus on the positive. I know who I am and what I am about and I am secure with myself and what I am putting out into the world. It used to be really hard to deal with but now I am living a fabulous happy life and I don’t have time for that silliness to drag me down. :)

Q: You're such a beautiful person and I love watching your videos so much! You're easy to understand. And I love how genuine you are. Keep up the great work, darling. Wishes for continued success, and thank you for all you do. Also, I know you have dry skin. But any tips for girls with oily skin who want to keep there make up from getting oily and icky looking throughout the day?

Get blotting papers!! I get an oily t zone and those suckers save my life. I use them instead of powder to avoid a cakey face.

Q: Hello, I love your video, they are absolutely amazing :) I was just wondering if you would be able to help me out with a little dilemma. I want to try out ombre on my hair, but I don't want to bleach it. My natural color is kind of a medium cappuccino color with natural caramel colored highlights. My question is do you think it would be possible for me to lighten my hair just a little bit? I want to get the ombre effect but I dont want it to be bleached blond?

You can just lift the color a bit without having to go full platinum. Find a good colorist and they will be able to help you out.
